Project title: Global Goals for Northamptonshire

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The main purpose is to communicate widely the 17 SDGs as an agenda within Northampton, initially. We wish to provide a ‘live’ community immersion event in partnership with Delapre Abbey Preservation Trust, a large community asset based in Northampton which is well known and used by the general public. This will be an opportunity for a range of stakeholders to take part in local projects helping achieve and tackle some of the global goals. Knowledge around the global goals is still very sector dependent and by having a launch event at a visible community asset we will increase the effectiveness of communications to a wider audience. The community immersion event will include a promotional and marketing toolkit on the global goals which will subsequently be used at community forums and other micro-community events for the duration of the project to educate, raises awareness and interest.
