The V4 Community Foundation Maturity Program vision was achieved through three objectives:  active, sustainable and self-organizing local communities. The mission of this program was establishing – in cooperation of partners from the four Visegrad countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary) – sustainable, effective, stable community foundations, that are responsive to the needs of local communities. The Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland, the organizer of the program, fulfilled that goals by strengthening the community foundations operating in the Visegrad countries, with the support of the main donors: the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe and the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
