About the CF: Podilska Hromada is a community foundation of Vinnytsia, which activates the community and gathers resources to address current needs by developing a culture of charity / philanthropy and implementing charitable programs based on equal dialogue, openness and transparency.
Podilska Hromada has been operating since 2008. More than 270 large projects were implemented during this period. The CF has three strategic directions of work: development of CSR of businesses; community activation and organizational capacity building.

PROJECT TITLE: AEDs save lives

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of three main blocks:

1. Installation of 6 automatic external defibrillators in public places of Vinnytsia community.
2. 12 training sessions for almost 200 people about how to use of AED and first premedical aid.
3. Extended information campaign for residents of the Vinnytsia Community on the availability, functionality and use of automatic external defibrillators.

The relevance of this project is due to one of the most common causes of premature death – mortality from non-infectious causes (cardiovascular disease, death from accidents).
