ABOUT: Community Donation Fund Sliven was established in 2012 to promote philanthropy for local causes, campaigns and projects in all spheres of life. More than 50 small and large projects for the development of the local community have been have been supported by the Fund.

PROJECT TITLE: Support for the poor communities in the Sliven area for better education and health during crisis

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is targeting the poor communities in the small settlements of our area. It aims to reduce inequalities in access to education and health care in the current pandemic situation, by providing technical means and internet access for children, as well as devices for measuring blood pressure, heart rate and blood sugar.

SDG TARGETS:

• Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
• Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

The reason we are targeting these SDG is that In the very poor communities in remote small villages of Sliven area, there is no permanent access to health services, as well as a lack of technical facilities and internet to provide quality distance learning education for children.
